HydroBuddy keeps the water constantly moving through a triple-layer filter, so every sip is fresh and clean:

We recommend replacing both filters every 30 days to maintain clean and healthy water. The HydroBuddy features a dual filtration system for maximum water purity. Replacement filters are sold separately.

Is the HydroBuddy handy when I'm away during the summer?

Absolutely. Through the app you adjust the water flow and receive real-time notifications, for example when the water is running low. That way your pet stays hydrated even when you're away from home on a warm day.

Does the fountain keep the water fresh in warm weather?

The water stays in motion and is filtered, so it stays fresh longer than a bowl that sits still for hours. Refresh the water daily and replace the filter on time for the best taste.

What is the difference between the HydroBuddy and the FlowMate Pro?

Both are 4L water fountains with a stainless steel drinking surface and a quiet pump. The HydroBuddy adds app control: you adjust the water flow, track the water level and receive real-time notifications. The FlowMate Pro works without an app and uses a red LED to indicate low water. Choose the HydroBuddy if you want smart monitoring, the FlowMate Pro if you want to keep it simple.

Can I check from a distance whether my pet is drinking enough?

Through the HydroBuddy app you track the water level and receive notifications, for example when the water is low or the fountain needs attention. That way you can keep an eye on your pet's hydration, even when you're not home.

Can I adjust the water flow of the HydroBuddy?

Yes. Through the app you set the strength of the water flow to your pet's preference. Some cats prefer a gentle flow, others a livelier stream.
