Smart pet gear, with a face behind it
SmartPaw was started in October 2025 by two Belgians who got tired of buying nameless pet gadgets from marketplace listings. We keep the range small, we use everything ourselves, and we answer when you write.
The smart pet market had no brands in it
Search for an automatic feeder or a water fountain and you get a wall of near-identical listings. Different logo, same box. Nobody to call when the app refuses to pair, a warranty that means nothing, and a return address on the other side of the world.
We thought pet owners deserved the opposite of that. So in October 2025 we started SmartPaw: a Belgian brand with a small, curated range instead of an endless catalogue. Everything we sell runs in our own homes first, with our own animals. If it doesn't survive that, it doesn't get listed.
And we put our own faces to it. That's us in the videos, and that's us replying on WhatsApp. It is harder than hiding behind a webshop — that's rather the point.

Function before features
A fountain that stays under 23 dB beats one with an app you will open twice. We test for daily life, not for the spec sheet.

WhatsApp, email or phone. A real person in Ghent, usually the same day.

No call centre, no reseller. Two founders in Ghent who pick the products, pack the boxes and answer the messages.
