Doesn’t the FurVac scare my pet because of the noise?
No, the FurVac is designed to be quiet (only 60 dB – comparable to a normal conversation). This way, your pet stays relaxed during brushing or trimming.
Does the FurVac work for all coat types?
Yes! Thanks to the different attachments, the FurVac is suitable for both short and long coats, and even for pets that shed a lot of undercoat. For dogs that need hand-stripping, the combs are less important, but the other four attachments remain super handy for grooming and cleaning.
Is it safe for my pet?
Absolutely. The attachments are specially designed to be gentle and pet-friendly, without pulling or poking. Your pet’s comfort always comes first.
How do I maintain the FurVac?
Very simple: all hairs are vacuumed directly, so almost nothing remains in the attachments – a quick rinse or wipe is usually enough. The FurVac has a washable filter that you can clean under the tap and then let dry for 24 hours. This way, you don’t have to deal with expensive or annoying filter subscriptions.
Can I wash the attachments?
Yes, almost all of them! Except for the Electrostatic brush and the trimmer, all attachments can safely be rinsed. Just make sure to dry them thoroughly right away to extend their lifespan.
Can I return the FurVac?
Yes, you can! You have 30 days to let your dog gradually get used to the FurVac. If you still encounter issues, you can always contact us via WhatsApp or check out our blog with tips on overcoming fear. In practice, we see that 90% of more timid dogs experience no issues at all after just two introduction sessions – with the help of our blog.
What if my dog is afraid of vacuum cleaners?
Many dogs are naturally a bit uneasy around vacuum cleaners. Here are some tips:
Start step by step: first, let your dog calmly sniff the device. Then, turn on the Furvac nearby without brushing right away. Next, try brushing without the sound. Once your dog is comfortable, you can combine brushing with the sound. Reward your dog often and keep the sessions short.
From our experience: even dogs that are very anxious usually feel completely at ease after just two or three sessions and allow themselves to be groomed without any problem.
